My first ebay visit - check me out!

well, well, well...this is a very exciting moment for me! How the world has got so caught up with ebay, myspace, facebook etc and whilst i've listened to the delights that these things clearly offer, i myself have not yet delved into this world!
But watch out, i'm catching up! So, whilst i listen to my friends tell their stories about their amazing bargains on ebay and how they're the top bidder, up to this point i've just listened thinking 'i must go and have a look'. Thank you cyberchase/Kate/Bethan and challenge 2 for being the catalyst to my discovery!

So, what was i going to go for....? something interesting. I was very excited to stumble across a size 9 prosthetic leg but this excitement shortly turned into great disappointment when i was outbid. But, that's ok. You've always got to pick yourself up and get back onto that bicycle and that's just what I did. Quite amusing to find out that someone else participating in this challenge was on the same lines as me and he was also outbid.

So, the search continues....Something else caught my eye..a glass eye in a leather case...naturally. So again i started bidding and yet again i fell down at the last hurdle and was outbid. Sorry, but who the hell is buying this stuff?

To be honest, i then lost momentum. The letdown and the heatache that follows was just too much and as of yet, have not actually purchased anything but i'll be keeping my eyes out...

Thinking up an online identity was an interesting one. It conjures up a number of questions - how do people currently perceive me, how do I want to be perceived, what would I like to be like, what am I like?

The words that jump out are happiness and positivity. Clearly, one can't always be happy but I do try my best to go through life with a smile on my face and always seeing the brighter picture. Every negative thought that comes into my head immediately gets replaced with a positive one! So, there you have it. That's the story behind happylilsprite!

And I'd like to say to 'nut, nut' (whoever you are) that's a great identity and I love it! This is what people have always called me as I guess I am a tad nutty, mad and a lil bit eccentric too!
